I laughed.
"You must have a death wish, cat! No cat can be in a wolf pack. Plus, you are a male. It is the first law that we may not have males in our pack!" I barked. He still stood there and stared.
"Fine," I growled, "you may observe our training tomorrow. But you may only observe." The cat nodded and turned to leave.
I trotted back to my den and laid. I tried to sleep, but couldn't. Questions stirred inside my mind. Will the cat even show tomorrow? Is he just plotting to attack us? And most importantly, what will the pack think?
